Die Ausstellung wird am 7. Mai online auf Instagram von Ana Baumgart eröffnet und versteht sich als ein sich weiter entwickelnder Prozess, in den der Künstler bis zum 17. Mai ständig eingreifen wird. Die Entstehung wird durch ein „Video Diary“ vom Künstler dokumentiert und u.a. auf unserer Website zu verfolgen sein.
Auf Grund der veränderten Inzidenz Lage kann die Ausstellung Donnerstags von 17 – 20 Uhr und Samstags von 14 – 17 Uhr besichtigt werden. Voraussetzung sind ein negativer tagesaktueller Corona Test und das tragen einer FFP2 Maske.
Meine künstlerischen Prozesse drehen sich um infantile Räume als rhetorische und existenzielle Zone, die Gedanken und Objekt in die Marginalität rücken.
Der Tradition des – nicht wissen wo man anfangen soll, des sich fortwährend widersprechen – folgend; Auf Ahnungen reagierend, voller unerwarteter Beziehungen, arbeite ich ohne dabei Kultivierung oder Faszination zu beabsichtigen, einfach, um meine Vorstellung zu teilen. Mal synthetisch, mal organisch, mal unerwartet und dann wieder zahm wie ein Kätzchen.
Ich arbeite und sehe dabei Produktion als sinnlose Recherche, als stumme Beschwerde gegen das Konzept des Fortschritts und der kapitalistischen Ausbeutung. Um das Unnütze zu erreichen, werfe ich mich auf die Abnutzung von Ideen, Objekten und Bildern.
Endlose Kuriositäten, willkürliche Abbildungen, respektlose Referenzen, ätzende Arbeiten, Skizzen, Anmerkungen, Scheiße, Verbesserungen, Editionen, Gespräche, Gedichte, Landschaften, Gerüche; Kurz gesagt, alles außer Kochrezepte.
Ich beabsichtige mich auf das Konzept, nicht das Subjekt, des Erschöpften zu fokussieren und auf die Aktion des Erschöpfens.
Ausbeutung wäre eine Zone, ein indirekter Raum um Gefühle zu koordinieren, der affektive Strategien reproduziert und produktive Formen des Lebens und Kreierens entwickelt.
Nicht nur durch Extraktion, sondern auch durch Überschneidung. Müde Bedeutungen, wie ein erschöpftes Tier das sich hinlegt, um zu ruhen oder zu sterben.
1990 in Buenos Aires geboren, derzeit in Porto lebend, wurde Matias Romano Aleman eingeladen im Raum für drastische Maßnahmen seinen Kosmos in einer raumfüllenden Installation zu zeigen.

The exhibition will be opened online on instagram on 7 May by Ana Baumgart and is understood as an evolving process in which the artist will constantly intervene until the 17 May. The Formation will be documented by the artist itself in form of a „daily video diary“ to be viewed at our website.
Because of the new Corona restrictions it is possible to visit the exhibition Thursdays 5 – 8 pm and Saturdays 2 – 5 pm. The requirements are a negative daily up to date corona test and a FFP2 mask.
My artistic processes revolve around infantile spaces as a rhetoric and existential zone, pushing thought and object to its margins.
Following the tradition of not knowing where to start, of contradicting upon every sentence, every thought, every fluid.
To correspond with hunches and unexpected correlations, I work, without any intention of cultivating or captivating our minds, to share a part of my imagination.
At times synthetic, at others organic, sometimes untimely sometimes tame as a domestic cat.
I work viewing production as useless research, as a mute complaint and critique to the concept of progress and capitalistic exploitation. To access the useless, I throw myself toward wearing out ideas, objects and images.
Endless curiosities, random images, irreverent references, caustic works, drawings, annotations, shit, corrections, editions, conversations, poems, landscapes, smells; in short, everything except cooking recipes.
I intend to focus on the concept —not the subject— of the exhausted and the action of exhausting. “Ausbeutung” would be a zone, an indirect space to coordinate feelings, reproducing affective strategies and developing productive forms of living and creating.
Not only by extracting, but also by overlapping. Fatigued meanings, like a tired animal that lies down for some rest or to die.
