Two rooms. A stereophony is a solo piece by composer/performer Hannes Hoelzl, custom tailored for the R. – Raum für drastische Maßnahmen and the streaming present.

Composed of six movements that alternatingly happen in one of the two rooms of the gallery, it pays homage to Alvin Lucier and the pioneers of stereophony. With the miracles of 60s audio tech, 90s computer music and 2020’s web tech, this live streamed audiovisual happening lets you experience what it feels like being acoustically immersed in two rooms at the same time.
