Mit dem Blick durch das Fenster, vom Interieur ins Exterieur, begann einst die Landschaftsmalerei und mit ihr auch die Naturästhetik. Wir objektifizieren unsere Umgebung und machen sie uns zum Untertan.
Anstatt diese individuelle menschliche Erfahrung zu verabsolutieren sucht Toni Ehrhardt nach dem Dialog mit der nichtmenschlichen Umgebung.

So wird in dieser Ausstellung die Landschaft selbst auf ihre Eigenaktivität befragt.
Ein malerisches Motiv wird in multimediale Installationen übersetzt.

Landscape painting once began with the view through the window, from the interior to the exterior, and with it the aesthetics of nature. We objectify our surroundings and make them our subordinate. Instead of absolutizing this individual human experience, Toni Ehrhardt seeks a dialogue with the non-human environment.

Thus, in this exhibition, the landscape itself is questioned for its own activity.
A painterly motif is translated into multimedia installations.
