Der Raum für drastische Maßnahmen versteht sich als unkommerzieller Ausstellungsraum, Experimentierfeld und Vermittlungsgebiet für aktuelle Kunst und freie Kultur.
Durch ehrenamtliches Engagement und angewandten Humanismus schaffen wir analoge und digitale Netzwerke diverser menschlicher Ausdrucksformen und zeitgenössischer Ästhetik.
Seit 2011 bieten wir progressiv eine soziokulturelle, gemeinnützige Plattform, auf der kreatives Tun frei gedacht, gestaltet und erfahrbar gemacht wird. Kulturelle Handlungen sind Motor und Gradmesser dieser Zivilisation. Wir machen manche sichtbar und verursachen und verstärken dabei kreative Prozesse und soziale Beziehungen.
Nach sechsjähriger Projektraumbasisförderung durch den Berliner Senat für Kultur und gesellschaftlichen Zusammenhalt und der damit einhergehenden Professionalisierung, ist der Raum in 2026 weiterhin eine freie, lebendige und offene Begegnungsstätte der Künste.
Während der so genannte Fortschritt nach hinten loszugehen scheint, bleiben wir bestrebt den negativen und destruktiven Kräften unser Welt etwas entgegenzusetzen. Unser Projektraum funktioniert nur durch Toleranz, Empathie, Kooperation und Selbstermächtigung. Und steht somit gegen Rassismus, Sexismus sowie ökologische und ökonomische Ausbeutung.
Der Raum für drastische Maßnahmen ist lebender Beweis für die Fruchtbarkeit zwischenmenschlicher Kooperation und bei weitem mehr als die Summe seiner Teilhabenden.

The Raum für drastische Maßnahmen is a non-commercial, experimental exhibition space and mediation area for contemporary art and free culture. Through applied humanism and voluntary commitment we create analog and digital networks of diverse human forms of expression and contemporary aesthetics.
Since 2011, we have been progressively offering a socio-cultural, non-profit platform on which creative output is freely conceived, designed and made tangible. Cultural activities are the motor and indicator of this civilization. We make some visible and cause and strengthen creative processes and social relationships.
After six years of basic funding for the project space by the Berlin Senate the accompanying professionalization, the space will continue to be a free, lively, and open meeting place for the arts in 2026.
While so-called progress seems to be backfiring, we remain committed to countering the negative and destructive forces in our world.
Our project space only functions through tolerance, empathy, cooperation, and selfempowerment.
It therefore stands against racism, sexism, and ecological and economic exploitation.
The Raum für drastische Maßnahmen is aliving proof of the fertility of interpersonal cooperation and far more than the sum of its participants.

El Raum für drastische Maßnahmen es un espacio de exhibición artística y experimental no
comercial, así como un lugar de mediación para el arte contemporáneo y la cultura (de acceso libre).
Mediante un humanismo aplicado y un compromiso voluntario hemos creado una comunidad (análoga y digital), que está atravesada por diversas formas de expresión y estéticas contemporáneas.
Desde 2011 ofrecemos esta, nuestra plataforma sociocultural, progresista y sin ánimo de lucro en dónde la producción artística se concibe, se diseña y se hace tangible en términos colectivos. Las actividades culturales son el motor y el indicador de nuestra civilización; y así como hacemos visibles diferentes tipos de expresiones artísticas, generamos y fortalecemos procesos creativos y relaciones sociales.
Tras seis años de recibir una financiación del Berliner Senat für Kultur und gesellschaftlichen Zusammenhalt que nos permitió alcanzar cierto nivel de profesionalización, hemos decidido que nuestro espacio seguirá siendo en 2026 un lugar de encuentro libre, vivo y abierto para las artes.
Mientras el llamado “progreso” parece estar fracasando, nosotros seguiremos esforzándonos por
contrarrestar las fuerzas negativas y destructivas del mundo. Nuestro espacio solo funciona gracias a la tolerancia, la empatía, la cooperación y el empoderamiento, y por ello nos oponemos al racismo, el sexismo y la explotación ecológica y económica.
El Raum für drastische Maßnahmen es una prueba viva de la fecundidad de la cooperación interpersonal y es mucho más que la suma de todos sus componentes y participantes.
