Just like the most basic musical gesture can be controlled, it can also continue on its own when the mind goes elsewhe
Above and below is a fantasy about the machines that control our impulses. That we are not a starting point of impulses and actions but rather just one link in a chain. We are the drumstick in somebody´s hand, the link between a force and an instrument.
This is Andris first solo exhibition in Berlin. His extensive Installations are bridging the gaps between acoustic and optic as well as the inner and the outer.
