Raum 2026 – Danksagung, News und Futur
Höchst verehrte UnterstützerInnen, geschätzte Mitglieder und liebe Freunde des Raum für drastische Maßnahmen e.V.
Vorweg möchten wir uns allerherzlichst für all die Liebe und euren vielfältigen Support in den vergangenen vierzehneinhalb Jahren bedanken. Ohne euch wäre dieser Projektraum nicht denkbar und zudem sinnlos!
Trotz der ausgelaufenen, sechsjährigen Projektraumbasisförderung durch den Berliner Senat haben wir uns einvernehmlich entschlossen den Raum für mindestens 1,5 Jahre weiter zu betreiben und zu erhalten. So manche Posten, bspw. Videointerviews, Plakate und Honorare, müssen wir zukünftig leider auf ein Mindestmaß reduzieren. Dem gegenüber stehen unser Glaube an die Wichtigkeit der Sache und dieses weiterhin fantastisch-fruchtig wuchernde Netzwerk menschlicher Interaktionen.
Auch in 2026 ist und bleibt der Raum für drastische Maßnahmen eine unkommerzielle und interkulturelle Begegnungsstätte für frische Kunst in all ihren Formen.
Damit dass so bleibt bräuchten wir wieder vermehrt Eure Rückendeckung!
Bieten könnt ihr diese über eine (erneuerte) Mitgliedschaft und Spenden, auch vor Ort. Fortlaufende Mitgliedschaften bitten wir mal zu überprüfen, da die Daueraufträge oftmals am Ende eines Jahres automatisch auslaufen.

Ansonsten kommt gerne einfach mal wieder auf ein Wort und Trunk vorbei. Jede Form der Unterstützung ist uns höchst willkommen und wir lobpreisen wie immer jeder Erscheinung.
Im neuen Jahr wird das Programm des Raums aus eher experimentellen und kollaborativen Aktionen und Ausstellungen bestehen. Auch möchten wir wieder mehr Performances die Haltung zeigen, Raum bieten.
Unser Progamm startet im Februar mit einer Lesung am Freitag den 13. unter dem Motto „Szene klappern“. Die umfangreiche Liste der Teilnehmenden folgt.
Die erste Gruppenausstellung „Homesick for another World“ startet am 20. Februar und wird vom Kuratorenkollektiv JARDIN bestehend aus David Bianchi (GT), Juan Blanco (COL) und Anči Jovanović (CRO) bespielt. Gezeigt werden Arbeiten von Asia Skupinska , Anči Jovanović, Juan Blanco, David Bianchi, Laura Gómez Bernal, Saray Purto Hoffmann, Ernstina Eitner, und David Ramírez Cotón.
Außerdem möchten wir Euch noch auf unser anstehendes 15 jähriges Jubiläum Mitte Juli hinweisen. Da lassen wir es wohl scheppern!
Freut euch auf ein diverses Programm und checkt mal unbedingt die Ausstellung unser liebsten Mitverschwörer im KFZ- Kunst für Zukunft aus, falls ihr im Frühsommer nähe Bodensee seid.

Dear supporters, valued members, and dear friends of Raum für drastische Maßnahmen.
First of all, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks for all your love and diverse support over the past fourteen and a half years. Without you, this project space would be inconceivable and, moreover, meaningless!
Despite the expiration of the six-year project space funding from the Berlin Senate, we have mutually agreed to continue operating and maintaining the space for at least another 1.5 years. Unfortunately, we will have to reduce some items, such as video interviews, posters, and fees, to a minimum in the future.
On the other hand, we believe in the importance of the cause and this fantastically fruitful network of human interactions.
In 2026, Raum für drastische Maßnahmen will remain a non-commercial and intercultural meeting place for fresh art in all its forms.
To ensure that this remains the case, we need your support once again! You can offer these through (renewed) membership and donations, including on site. We kindly ask you to check your ongoing memberships, as standing orders often expire automatically at the end of the year.

In the new year, the program of the space will consist of more experimental and collaborative actions and exhibitions. We would also like to offer more performances that show attitude and provide space.
We will start with a reading on Friday, February 13th, under the motto “Szene klappern” (Clattering Scene). The extensive list of participants will follow.
The first group exhibition, “Homesick for another World,” will then start on February 20th and will be curated by the collective JARDIN, consisting of David Bianchi (GT), Juan Blanco (COL), and Anči Jovanović (CRO).
Works by Asia Skupinska, Anči Jovanović, Juan Blanco, David Bianchi, Laura Gómez Bernal, Saray Purto Hoffmann, Ernstina Eitner, and David Ramírez Cotón will be on display.
We would also like to draw your attention to our upcoming 15th anniversary in mid-July. We’ll be celebrating in style!
